Felipe Ribeiro is chief creative officer at Wieden+Kennedy Portland. Born in Santos, a coastal city in Brazil, Felipe grew up surrounded by canoeists and musicians and had 15 minutes of (very local) fame as a vocalist in a hardcore band. Those days are gone, but he continues to draw inspiration from music, writing, sports, and design to create work with a unique voice and a genuine chance of becoming part of the culture.
After joining W+K in 2018 to serve as creative director for Facebook, Felipe has had experiences in the Sao Paulo, Portland, and New York offices, overseeing Heinz in the U.S. In 2022, he was appointed CCO at W+K Sao Paulo, leading the office to exponential growth and a list of new clients, including Budweiser, Ford, Google, Pepsi, and Nike Argentina. In less than one year in the new role, he expanded his responsibilities - and the footprints of Wieden+Kennedy - by founding W+K's office in Mexico City as well as a Buenos Aires hub - the first network outposts in Spanish-speaking countries, becoming the first Latin America CCO of the network, just before moving to Portland to lead the agency headquarters along with Azsa West and Jason White.
With over 16 years of experience in the advertising industry, Felipe has worked at some of the most creative agencies worldwide, has amassed numerous renowned campaigns, and has received over one hundred international awards, including a Grand Prix and a Titanium Lion at the Cannes Lions Festival.
